Work is ongoing on the new traffic signal at Roseton Avenue and Florence Avenue. This work is being conducted weekdays , between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Motorists may encounter delays while this work is completed. The frontage road at Roseton Avenue will open by Friday, April 24, and will allow through traffic onto Florence Avenue, during the upcoming closure of Orr and Day Road.
The year-long closure of Orr and Day Road (from jus t south of the Florence Avenue to jus t north of Cecilia Street) and Mondon Avenue (between Lakeland Road and Ringwood Avenue) is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of April 27. The new temporary traffic signal at Roseton Avenue and Florence will be open, before the closure of Orr and Day Road (south of Florence Avenue) begins.
During the week of April 27, crews will permanently close Dollis on Drive (between Quinn Street and the southbound I-5 on-ramp) and the southbound I-5 freeway on-ramp off Dollis on Drive. In addition, a long-term (approximately three year) closure of the southbound I-5 on-ramp on Florence Avenue is scheduled to begin the week of April 27.
