During the week of March 29, the Florence Avenue on-ramp to the northbound I-5 will be closed intermittently, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., as crews work to construct ADA ramps . One westbound (outside) lane of Florence Ave. at the I-5
freeway will also be closed while this work is completed. Work will be ongoing on the outside lanes of traffic on Florence Avenue at Roseton Avenue, weekdays between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Motorists may encounter delays while this work is completed. The traffic signal at Roseton Avenue and Florence will be open before the closure of Orr and Day Road (south of Florence Avenue) begins.
To accommodate the freeway widening, crews mus t close Orr and Day Road, from just south of the Florence Avenue to just north of Cecilia Street, for approximately one year. A temporary traffic signal is being installed at Roseton Avenue and Florence Avenue to maintain access for residents . This work involves opening the frontage road at Roseton to allow through traffic onto
Florence Avenue. An exact date is not yet available for the s tart of this closure, however additional information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.
