Work is ongoing on the new traffic signal at Roseton Avenue. During the week of April 5, crews will be removing the median at Roseton Avenue; this work is being conducted weekdays , between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Motoris ts may encounter delays while this work is completed. The frontage road at R oseton is being opened to allow through traffic onto Florence Avenue, during the upcoming closure of Orr and Day Road.
In a few weeks , crews will close Orr and Day Road, from just south of the Florence Avenue to jus t north of Cecilia S treet, for approximately one year, as part of the freeway widening effort. The new traffic signal at Roseton Avenue and Florence will be open before the closure of Orr and Day R oad (south of Florence Avenue) begins.
Other upcoming closures include the long-term (three year) closure of the southbound I-5 on-ramp at F lorence Avenue and the permanent closures of Dollison Drive (between Quinn S treet and to the southbound I-5 freeway on-ramp Orr and Day R oad) and the southbound I-5 on-ramp at Orr and Day R oad. More detailed information regarding these closures will be provided as soon as it is available.
