Intermittent lane reductions on the Florence Avenue bridge are scheduled Monday, June 29 through Wednesday, July 1, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Crews will alternate closing one eastbound and one westbound lane at a time, in order to perform soil testing at the abutments for the new Florence Avenue bridge. Please be advised, delays may occur as a result of these daytime lane reductions; to avoid delays, use an alternate route if possible.
Dollison Drive (between Quinn Street and southbound I-5 on-ramp) and the southbound I-5 freeway on-ramp on Dollison Drive have been permanently closed. As an alternate, motorists are encouraged to access the southbound I-5 freeway on-ramp on Studebaker Road. In addition, a long-term closure of the southbound I-5 on-ramp on Florence Avenue began in April and will be in place through January 2018.
