FLORENCE AVENUE INTERCHANGE PROJECT – Week of October 19, 2015

The week of Oct. 19, crews will conduct daytime work to remove and replace four existing traffic signals at the intersection of Roseton Avenue and Florence Avenue. The signal at Roseton and Florence will be set to flash while this work is conducted during daytime work shifts; the signals will be restored at the end of each shift. Construction activity is ongoing on sound walls and retaining walls along the northbound and southbound I-5, between Orr & Day Road and the Florence Avenue Bridge.

Shoring activity and retaining wall demolition is still underway along the Orr and Day railroad bridge, which passes underneath the I-5 freeway. This work will take place weekdays (Monday through Friday) between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. and will be ongoing for approximately the next three to four weeks.
