CLOSURE ADVISORIES
Extended Closure of Northbound I-5 Alameda Avenue On-Ramps, Nov. 18-23, 2015: The westbound and eastbound Alameda Avenue on-ramps to northbound I-5 in Burbank will be closed from November 18, 2015, at 9 a.m. to November 23, 2015, at 6 a.m. These closures are necessary to protect motorists while crews pave ramps and a segment of the collector lane. Signed detours will be provided.
LA River Bike Path Detour from November 16 – 18, 2015: The Los Angeles River Bike Path between Riverside Drive and just south of the SR-134 overcrossing in the City of Los Angeles will be closed November 16-18, 2015. A signed detour is posted that directs bike path users to Zoo Drive and Western Heritage Way. See map here.

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES for November 15 – 20, 2015
Work will occur during daytime hours unless otherwise noted.
Project: SR 134 to Magnolia Boulevard
Alameda Avenue: Construction of concrete bridge barriers.
Project: Magnolia Boulevard to Buena Vista Street
Buena Vista Bridge (Winona Bridge): Installation of falsework on southbound side.
Buena Vista Railroad Bridge: Forming of footing for abutments.
Buena Vista Ramps: Grading operation between the ramps.
Burbank Western Channel: Backfilling trench operations.
Empire Avenue: Jacking operation to finalize falsework (night work). Drilling piles (cast in drilled holes) for the underpass. Retaining wall work.
Railroad Retaining Wall: Installation of precast wall panels between Hollywood Way and Burbank
Boulevard.Demolition: Demo work near the southbound I-5 Buena Vista Street on- and off-ramps.
Utility Work: Underground utility work on Monday, November 16, at San Fernando Boulevard east of Grismer Avenue.

+ LA River Bike Path will be closed November 16-18, 2015, between Riverside Drive and just south of SR-134 overcrossing in the City of Los Angeles.
+ Intermittent closures of the northbound I-5 Alameda Avenue off- and on-ramps from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
+ Westbound and eastbound Alameda Avenue on-ramps to northbound I-5 will be closed from November 18, 2015 at 9 p.m. to November 23, 2015 at 6 a.m.
Project: Magnolia Boulevard to Buena Vista Street
+ Up to two lanes of southbound I-5 between Buena Vista Street and Empire Avenue will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
+ Intermittent closure of the southbound I-5 Burbank Boulevard off-ramp for equipment loading (night work).
