IMPERIAL HIGHWAY & PIONEER BOULEVARD PROJECT – Week of February 14, 2016

Adoree Street and Frontage Road, have both been opened to through traffic between Imperial Highway and Norwalk Boulevard.

Construction of the retaining wall along Mondon Avenue, between Tina Street and Bayla Street is ongoing.

Access on Mondon Avenue is temporarily limited to local traffic only, for approximately the next 2 months, as crews work to complete improvements in this area. This work will be conducted weekdays between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

As crews work on Imperial Highway and Norwalk Boulevard bridges at I-5, one lane in each direction will be closed at I-5 during the daytime.

Imperial Highway will be closed to through traffic underneath I-5, nightly Monday, Feb. 15 through Friday, Feb. 19, between 8:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., as crews strip bridge falsework. Changeable message signs have been placed in the field in advance of this work and detour signs to notify the public and direct traffic will be placed at the time of the closure. The closure area is shown on the map below in red; the detour route is highlighted in blue.
