Imperial Highway & Pioneer Blvd. Project – July 12- July 19, 2019

There may be some overnight closures of Imperial Highway, Norwalk Blvd. , and Pioneer Blvd. at I-5 starting Wednesday, July 15 to finalize striping and install traffic signals. Updates will be posted here and at . 

All lanes scheduled to be closed 
on northbound I-5 from Norwalk Blvd. to I-605 from 11:59 p.m. Thursday, July 11 until 5 a.m. Friday, July 12 to shift traffic lanes. The Norwalk Blvd. off ramp from NB I-5 will remain open. Traffic will be detoured northbound on Norwalk Blvd. to westbound Imperial Highway to NB I-605 back to NB I-5.

Alternate route: use westbound SR-91 to NB I-605 to NB I-5.  

When the final configuration of Imperial Highway at I-5 is complete, traffic will be able to access the Imperial Highway on ramp to northbound I-5 from eastbound or westbound Imperial Highway and from northbound Adoree St. at a traffic signal.

Workers are completing decorative concrete and tile work on walls under the I-5 bridges on Imperial Highway, Norwalk Blvd., and Pioneer Blvd.

If crews work on Imperial Highway, Norwalk Boulevard and Pioneer Boulevard at I-5, one lane in each direction may be closed on each street with traffic control during the daytime, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
