Construction of the concrete barrier separating Union Street and the new Southbound Frontage Road is ongoing. Additional finishing activity will be needed on Union Street and more information will be distributed once the plans for this work is finalized.
Pile driving activity and construction of bridge abutment walls is underway along I-5 at both Imperial Highway, Norwalk Boulevard and Pioneer Boulevard. This work is being conducted weekdays, between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and will be ongoing for approximately the next two weeks. While pile driving and construction activity is underway, crews may close one lane in each direction on Pioneer Boulevard, Imperial Highway and Norwalk Boulevard at I-5.
