The southbound I-5 freeway will be closed between Imperial Highway and Carmenita Road, from 11:59 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Tuesday night, March 31 and Wednesday night, April 1. In addition, nighttime closures are planned on eastbound and westbound lanes on Rosecrans Avenue at the I-5 freeway, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., Tuesday night, March 31 and Wednesday night, April 1. Work will be staged so that only one side of the street is closed at a time.
- Westbound lanes on Rosecrans Avenue at the I-5 will be closed from 9 p.m. Tues day, March 31 to 1 a.m. Wednesday, April 1 and from 9 p.m.
- Wednesday, April 1 to 1 a.m. Thurs day, April 2 Eastbound lanes on R osecrans Avenue at the I-5 will be closed between 1 and 5 a.m., Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 2
Paving activity along the southbound I-5 (from Silverbow Avenue pedestrian bridge to Carmenita Road) is under way and will be ongoing for approximately five to s ix weeks , and will include intermittent daytime and nighttime activity. This work may require nighttime lane closures along the southbound I-5 freeway, as well as intermittent closures of the southbound I-5 off-ramp at Carmenita Road. Please be advised, night work may be dis ruptive due to construction lighting, equipment noise and general construction activity.
