Daytime crusher activities in the center of the freeway will continue next week; this work is ongoing in the median of the freeway, in order to process and recycle concrete and debris that was produced after the demolition of the Silverbow Avenue pedestrian bridge and the Rosecrans Avenue bridge.
Pile driving activity is underway in the center median of the freeway, to work on the new Bloomfield Avenue bridge. This work will be completed on Friday, Aug. 7. The contractor anticipates pile driving activity will begin at the Rosecrans Avenue bridge in September. Please be advised this work may be loud and disruptive due to equipment noise, vibration and pounding relate to pile driving activity.
