HOLIDAY CLOSURE SCHEDULE
In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday there will be no closures scheduled Wednesday, Nov. 25 through Sunday, Nov. 29.
Nightly closures will be in effect on eastbound Rosecrans Avenue underneath I-5, Sunday through Thursday nights, (except Thanksgiving week, see holiday closure schedule above) for the next few weeks, as crews conduct work on the bridge bents at the undercrossing. Eastbound Rosecrans Avenue will be closed to through traffic underneath I-5 for the next two weeks, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Please note, the I-5 on- and off-ramps at Rosecrans Avenue may also be closed intermittently.
Motorists will be directed to follow the detour routes highlighted in green on the map below, when eastbound Rosecrans Avenue is closed at I-5.
Work area is highlighted in red; local access will be maintained for residents and businesses off Bloomfield Avenue and Firestone Boulevard.No access to Rosecrans Avenue underneath I-5 freeway. Rosecrans Avenue I-5 on and off-ramps will also be closed while this work is completed. Motorists will be directed to follow the detour routes highlighted in green, to bypass the closure area
