S. Firestone Blvd. is scheduled to be closed from Marquardt Ave. to the on ramp to southbound I-5 from *8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 until 6 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22. To remove falsework from the completed first half of the bridge. Access to businesses within the closure will be permitted.
The steel girders, rebar, and concrete from the demolished second half of the Valley View Ave. Bridge have been removed for recycling. Workers are now removing falsework (temporary frame support) from the completed first half of the bridge. Videos below show progress from Nov. 11 to Nov. 19:
